The [árticos] series explores an abstraction of the frozen landscape, like an aerial view that combines the icy sensation of emptiness with the beautiful perception of the ephemeral nature of cracked thawing, whose 22k gold cracks glisten, announcing what is about to disappear. The presence of the beauty of imperfection, along with the search for organic textures and sensations that refer to authentic natural matter, is the basis of this series. Emulating the randomness of chance and, at the same time, discovering the magic of the unexpected. The use of silver aims to highlight the beauty of the cracks, referring to kintsugi. There is beauty in the unnoticed, in the small detail, the insignificant sparkle, and textures so real that they evoke a very familiar sense of home, whose memory refers to recollection and transports to places, thus turning abstract painting into personal landscapes.
