Rationale

The [botanicals] series explores the organic essence of natural elements at the precise moment of blooming. Through the abstraction of the landscape, the painting dialogues with forms and textures that evoke intimate memories, suggestions of a personal place that manifests in sensory experience. Perhaps an ethereal dawn, where the awakening of colors and the humidity of tones generate a serene state of infraleve, fleeting contemplation. I work with liquid paint mixed with minerals, in a process that allows for the emergence of organic textures and crystallized glazes. The paint behaves like a living organism, transforming slowly, as if breathing. The soft glow of the crystals suggests disappearing dew, while the cracks highlighted in 22k gold project light and reveal a beauty that does not hide imperfection, but celebrates it. [botanicals] is an invitation to perceive the minimal, what usually goes unnoticed: the detail, the slow rhythm, fragility as a value. Each work is born from the balance between what I control and what I let happen, like an intimate landscape that does not impose itself, but remains.
