William Gaber

Born in 1968, William Gaber is a multidisciplinary artist who lives and works between Mexico City, Yucatan, and Madrid. A self-taught artist, William Gaber has complemented his artistic development with studies under the tutelage of various masters in Mexico and specialized programs at prestigious institutions such as the Royal College of Art in London. His career also includes collaborations as an assistant in workshops of renowned artists. Gaber develops his practice through media such as painting, drawing, and sculpture. His choice of techniques and materials is not driven by fashion or chance, but constitutes an essential element of his artistic identity. This formal versatility allows him to address the nuances of contemporary reality with acuity and ingenuity. His work is part of private and institutional collections and includes three public art interventions.
