Reimagining lost architectures through tactile manipulation and photography, questioning the perception of reality and the residue of memory.

Emilio Pemjean lives and works in Madrid. He is an architect from the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Madrid, with a Master's in MPAA and a Master's in International Photography, Concept, and Creation from EFTI. In parallel, and closely connected to his work as a visual artist, he engages in university research and teaching. His work has been awarded at the 14th Contemporary Art Exhibition, MAC-Unión Fenosa-Coruña; the Permanent Call for Projects of the Complutense Art Center CarteC; the National Photography Award of the AENA Foundation; the International Photography Contest Alliance Française-Pilar Citoler Foundation; Grand Prix Fotofestiwal Łódź-Poland; ReGeneration3. Musée de l'Elysée. Lausanne-Switzerland; and the International Photography Biennial of Córdoba, among others. His work is included in public and private collections and has been exhibited, among other places, at the Museum of Contemporary Art MAC Coruña; Centro Parraga, Art Center-Murcia; Musée de l'Elysée.
