Armando Rabadán (2023)

Purist abstraction meets tactile illusion, where geometric precision evokes a rich, material presence beyond the flat canvas.

Armando Rabadán completed his Fine Arts degree at Mimar Sinan University in Istanbul, a city where he collaborates with institutions such as the Elgiz Museum and the Cervantes Institute. He has had several solo exhibitions with galleries in Istanbul and Hong Kong. He has participated in art fairs such as Context Art Miami, Contemporary Istanbul, or Kiaf Art Seoul. His work is found all over the world. He currently lives and works in Seville, where he has collaborated with the Tres Culturas del Mediterráneo Foundation on projects like Carpet. He is currently preparing a joint project with other artists from the Sevillian school; he will undertake the dual role of artist and organizer of an artist residency in Cyprus, alongside colleagues such as Miguel Losada, Fernando Clemente, Miki Leal, and Pablo Merchante.
