From a mature perspective on creative impulses and the seriousness with which the artist understands they should be considered. Growing up in a post-industrial city like Alcoy, Alicante, laid the foundation for his sensitivity and imagination. Decadent urban landscapes allowed a young artist to appropriate space as a place for play and self-discovery. At the same time, the elements that determine the functionality of public space, its structures and patterns, present a challenge for Ceerre. It is a dialogue about the limits of this and its impact on the private sphere. About how to find cracks towards expressive freedom in our own life map. How, ultimately, to keep playing without the blessing of a specific time and place to do so. Concerns that are embodied in a plastic language that moves from industrial elements, such as enamels and sprays, to traditional oils, acrylics, and charcoal. Where the key lies in the encounter between the tool and the surface as a manifestation of being and of being present. Thus finding oneself through intuitive and organic expression. The practice of artistic practice implies a desire to deconstruct what has been learned, to continue inferring and challenging material limits, whether on canvas, mural, or asphalt. Where the scribble is expressed as a performative action in search of the reaffirmation of the self as an agent of meaning creation and a builder of one's own reality, thus fleeing from figurative language that would be learned as a legitimate expression of reality and as a mimesis of an already configured environment.
