Miralcel materializes a symbol in which two concepts converge until they become one: on the one hand, the elevation of the gaze. Elevation itself. On the other, the expression that throughout human history arises constantly, the idea that the Universe is the feminine without an opposite, the Virgo Paritura, the self-fertile feminine principle from which life springs by its own creative impulse. There is another important aspect of the work that exemplifies one of the most relevant powers of sculpture: its ability to appropriate the environment, to make it its own. Miralcel appropriates the sky by looking at it and makes it part of itself, of its discourse.
