Unique work
In this work, dominated by two columns that rise like symbolic guardians, the composition evokes a threshold between the earthly and the spiritual. Columns, present since the sacred architecture of Egypt to Masonic temples, usually represent the balance of opposites: strength and wisdom, masculine and feminine, light and shadow. Positioned in pairs, they suggest entrance, passage, or initiation, as if the viewer were invited to cross into hidden knowledge or a higher state of consciousness. Their presence is not merely structural, but profoundly esoteric: they are portals.

Armando Rabadan

Spanish visual artist, highly influenced by purism, he uses geographical themes mixed with the simplistic beauty of Japanese origami. His attractively modern works appear to have a healthy, three-dimensional texture, although they are actually completely flat on the canvas. His "preferred medium of spray, oil, and acrylic on canvas" along with computer sketching allows Rabadán to achieve the unique effect of his earthy and conceptual pieces. He has developed his career by undertaking residencies in France and most recently in the United Kingdom, and has had a presence in international emerging art fairs such as Context Miami or Contemporary Istanbul, appearing at the ARCO fair in 2024, as a main national presence.
