Unique work
(URBAN ROOTS) The "Urban Roots" series presents the artist's vision analyzing the relationship between society, individuals and nature. The work represents the different moments of uncertainty in our society, where the relationships between citizens and their environment are the basis of this series. The concern for individual identity, uprooting, and social conflicts are reflected in these trees that suffer and enjoy who we are today. From a technical point of view, this painting possesses great richness, as different materials and techniques are combined, giving the work great material richness that awakens the viewer's curiosity and interest in the work. The artist uses posters, maps, concert or show tickets, QR codes, etc., to establish a narrative basis for his work, from which he begins to adhere large masses of paint and elements that make this series one of Xavi García's most identifiable. As we can observe in the different works, his style can flow from figurative to a light abstraction.

Xavi Garcia

Xavi García is influenced by Pop and Urban art styles. His work results in a modern finish but with a purely classical process. He uses oil and acrylic in large quantities to create an innumerable range of mixed textures, one of his main characteristics. Xavi García has achieved international recognition, giving as much importance to the message as to the painting itself. He has participated in important international exhibitions both in Europe (London, Paris, Brussels, and Rome) and around the world (New York and Hong Kong).
