Unique work
The [alabasters] series is born from a deep contemplation of the mineral that gives it its name: a translucent, fragile, and luminous stone, whose texture evokes the organic and the spiritual. This collection explores the abstraction of alabaster as a symbol of the vulnerable and the essential, transforming its mineral quality into pictorial language. Through material processes that combine liquid paint, minerals, and crystallizations, the works in this series reveal fractured surfaces, golden cracks, and reliefs that suggest intimate landscapes and emotional geologies. Alabaster is not represented, it is invoked: its presence manifests in the light that passes through matter, in the ephemeral glow that depends on the viewer's angle and attention. Inspired by the philosophy of kintsugi, each fracture becomes a gesture of repair and memory. The pieces dialogue with the idea of the sacred in the everyday, of beauty in the eroded. [alabasters] is a series that invites pause, slow observation, and sensory resonance. In it, the pictorial and the mineral merge in an organic process that turns the surface into territory, and the crack into possibility.
