About the artist
Carla Cascales Alimbau (1989) was born and currently works in Barcelona. Her work maintains a minimalist aesthetic with influences from architectural currents such as brutalism mixed with a strong Mediterranean spirit. Likewise, her fascination with the Japanese aesthetic of "Wabi Sabi" imbues her work with a conception of beauty based on irregularity and impermanence.
