This work is my third homage to what I consider one of the pinnacles of sculpture of all time, Nefertiti, by the prodigious Amarna sculptor Tuthmose. The bust of Nefertiti, in addition to the extreme beauty and haughty serenity it exudes, seems to embody an enigmatic paradox. How is it possible that a face from over three thousand years ago has such evolved, such futuristic features? I have not tried to answer this enigma, but I have reinforced it with the celestial aesthetic of steel.
