(URBAN ROOTS) The series "Urban Roots" presents the artist's vision analyzing the relationship of society and individuals with nature. The work represents the different moments of uncertainty in our society, in which the relationships between citizens and their environment are the basis of this series. The concern for individual identity, uprooting, social conflicts end up being reflected in this kind of trees that suffer and enjoy who we are today. From a technical point of view, this painting possesses great richness, as different materials and techniques are combined, giving great material richness to the work that awakens the viewer's curiosity and interest in the piece. The artist uses posters, maps, concert or show tickets, QR codes, etc., to propose a narrative basis for his work, from which he begins to adhere large masses of paint and elements that make this series one of Xavi García's most identifiable. As we can observe in the different works, his style can flow from the figurative to a slight abstraction.
